A&E expands its footprint in Southeast Asia

US’ leading and world’s second-largest manufacturer and distributor of premium quality industrial and consumer sewing thread, embroidery thread and technical textiles, American & Efird (A&E) has appointed Philippines-based Manila Bay Thread Corporation as its new licensee to strengthen its position in Southeast Asian market…

Manila Bay will represent A&E in the Philippines by providing strategic support for the thread manufacturer’s global customers and local production capabilities while expanding the its global footprint.

The new arrangement will allow for the local manufacturing and delivery of A&E’s well-known worldwide brands into this market. Through A&E’s combined global network, its products are manufactured in 23 countries around the world and sold in over 100 nations, allowing global customers to quickly source high quality, colour-specific materials wherever their production facilities are located.
