Nautica has signed a new licensing agreement with Itochu Prominent USA for the manufacturing and distribution of its men’s dress shirts.

Itochu will distribute Nautica dress shirts at department stores and specialty retailers in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, beginning Fall 2017. The collection will be inspired by the brand’s heritage and will consist of oxford and poplin shirts updated for the active lifestyle, currently in demand.

“We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Itochu for the Nautica men’s dress shirts license,” said Brendan Sullivan, President of VF Sportswear, adding, “Itochu has a proven record of developing fashionable, quality tailored clothing, and we look forward to building a successful category together.”

This new license agreement with Itochu follows Nautica’s recent license agreement with Mundi Westport Group for men’s and women’s accessories.
