2nd edition of Vietnam Junior Fashion Week (VJFW) 2017 will open its gates in HCM City on March 24. At the two-day event, nearly 90 amateur fashion models aged from 4 to 13 years old will display clothes from the latest creations by international and local fashion houses and garment companies.

This year, VJFW will feature 40 collections for boys and girls, which are mostly ready-to-wear designs created by 8 fashion designers. The designs, using high-quality materials, will be offered at reasonable prices. Top-notch designers such as Kelly Bùi, Rabity, Phương Nguyễn and Den Nguyen are expected to grace the event.

Organized by a group of fashion designers and stylists from HCM City, the aim of VJFW is to encourage Vietnamese fashion houses, companies and designers to develop their children clothing business. “Our organizers have worked to make VJFW not only about catwalks but also a place to offer opportunities for Vietnamese fashion designers and companies to develop their brand names and their sales,” mentioned fashion model Xuân Lan, one of the members of the event’s organizing board, adding, “Our casting for the catwalk began last week. We hope both children and parents will be entertained after joining our shows.”
