Rue107 forays into activewear with body-inclusive range

New York-based body inclusive label Rue107 recently announced its foray into the activewear segment.

“Over the past two years since our showroom has been open, we’ve had rich conversations with our customers about fitness, body image, and overall well-being. There was one common thread, they want to ‘feel great at any size,” said Marie Jean-Baptiste, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rue107.

The line includes sizes from XS to 3XL, which are inclusive to a multitude of women and offers clothing as both activewear and athleisure, which is not usually available for all sizes.

Two main prints – being an African-inspired Tarzania print and a paintbrush stroke splash print – will feature on leggings, sports bras, and one-piece body suits.

Priced from US $ 49-89, the pieces have been made available for pre-order on rue107.com since Friday, May 5.
