Berlin is all set to host the 6th edition of Asia Apparel Expo from 14 to 16 February 2017. The fair presents a carefully-selected group of high-quality Asian apparel manufacturing companies with a wide range of apparel products, covering men’s, women’s and children’s wear, knitwear, fabrics and textiles, as well as trimmings and accessories.

The Expo is a professional sourcing marketplace for European companies to meet apparel manufacturers and suppliers from eight Asian countries where just over 300 companies from Hong Kong, China, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam will be participating. Asia Apparel Expo attracts around 2,000 European clothing companies which look out for new apparel opportunities in Asia.

It’s worth mentioning here that Asia remains the world’s best destination for apparel manufacturing, accounting for more than 32 per cent of the world’s clothing exports. Europe imports about half of the world’s entire clothing production and most the import is done from Asia which provides low cost and high quality products with stable supply throughout the times. Asia Apparel Expo, hence, is the platform for European brands to connect with world class Asian apparel manufacturers.

This year the expo is supported by Export Promotion Bureau – Bangladesh, China Council for the Promotional of International Trade (CCPIT), Pudong Sub-Council – China, Bureau of Commerce of Qingdao – China, ISEPC (The Indian Silk Export Promotion Council), and FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organisations).
